Photo: Collected Bangladesh Test captain Mushfiqur Rahim on Saturday visited 12-year-old ailing Muktamoni at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in the capital.Muktamoni who has been suffering from a rare skin disease is currently undergoing treatment at the Burn Unit of DMCH.“Don’t worry. You will get well soon. Everyone is with you and praying for you,” Mushfiqur said, boosting the morale of the ailing child. Mushfiqur assured Muktamoni’s father of all-out cooperation for her treatment.Muktamoni recognised Mushfiqur Rahman, exclaiming, “I saw Mushfiq many times on television. I am so happy to have him here with me!”The Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit’s chief coordinator Samanta Lal Sen was present when Mushfiqur visited Muktamoni.Bangladesh’s star cricketer Mushfiq told Samanta Lal that he wants to always stand by such ailing children and persons.Muktamoni, from Satkhira, has been afflicted by the disease mainly on her right arm, the condition leading to her hand swelling up almost like a bee hive.Samanta Lal Sen was optimistic that the girl’s condition could be cured.
