Father remanded for son’s murder

The argument had allegedly been caused by the younger Khan reportedly hitting his sister behind her head for leaving the home wearing unbecoming clothing. It has been alleged that the elder Khan dealt his son a blow to the head with a piece of wood, causing him to collapse. The young man was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital, and doctors there were told that he had fallen from a ladder.But a post-mortem conducted on Monday revealed that the teenager died as a result of haemorrhaging caused by blunt trauma.Both parents of the now dead teenager were taken into Police custody on Monday, and during interrogation, the father confessed to hitting the teenager, claiming it was unintentional.last_img read more
