Limerick schools close over Rachel’s Red Alert

Patricia R. Cooper

first_imgPatricia R. Cooper, of Brookville, was born on February 12, 1955 in Connersville, Indiana, the daughter of Ray E. and Thelma K. Schomber Cooper.  She was the former owner of Ye Olde Shack in Brookville.  She loved her family, her house, her cats and nature.  Patricia’s family will remember as her as the “best Mom there ever could be.”  She passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the age of 62. Those surviving who will honor Patricia’s memory include her son, Donald (Ana) Poling of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one brother, Tom Cooper of West Chester, OH; newphews, Thomas R. Cooper of Liberty, Cory Cooper of Owensville, OH, and Dalton Cooper of West Chester, OH.  She is also survived by several other relatives and many friends.  Patricia was preceded in death by her parents. #GHBudget: NSA to hold Inter-Districts Sports Competitions in 2020

first_imgThe Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, has stated that the Government will support the National Sports Authority to put together Inter-Districts Sports competitions in 2020 to help the nation discover more sporting talents for future assignments like the 2020 Olympic Games.The plan was captured in the 2020 Budget Statement and Economic Policy which was read on the floor of Ghana’s Parliament on Wednesday.The Minister did not give further details of the competitions but it is expected that the National Sports Authority will be at the forefront of handling these events in conjunction with the various districts.In addition to the competition, the budget also indicated that the NSA will hold a bi-annual congress that will seek to draw up plans and strategies for sports development at the district and regional levels.Also, the NSA will be tasked to support the districts and regions so that they will be better equipped to play their roles in the area of sports development.last_img read more
